Breakfast with Mickey Mouse and friends

I have always wanted to visit Mickey Mouse in his home in Disneyworld Florida. In fact, my life ambition is to visit all the Disney theme parks in the world. So far, I have managed EuroDisney in Paris and now I can say Disneyworld in Orlando, Florida. I already met Mickey in Paris but it’s just not the same as meeting him in his home, in Florida.

My superhero sister organized a very special treat for me – breakfast with Mickey and his crew in the Disney Polynesian Village Resort. Oh my goodness, I could not contain my excitement, I think I literally was vibrating with joy over the fact I would meet Mickey. First came Lilo, then Stitch, then the mouse himself, and lastly, Pluto. I even took part in the breakfast parade, notwithstanding I had no child to use as an excuse.imageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimage imageimageimageBeing in Orlando only for a day, we wanted the chance to see as much as possible so after brekkie, we were off to Sea Life and the Orlando Eye, and I even managed to sneak in a precious moment with Vin Diesel…at Madame Tussauds!imageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageWhere we stayed – Embassy Suites Orlando. Superbly located, well-appointed hotel and fantastic service offered with it. Particularly loved the complimentary cocktail happy hours between 5.30-7.30! It’s a great option to lay your head on a whistle-stop tour as we were. And definitely worth a mention is the fact that it is a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor® Hotel and offers a complimentary shuttle to the Disneyworld resort – woo hoo!imageimageimage All too soon, it was over and we were headed to Fort Lauderdale. Stay tuned for the next instalment on my adventures!
