Bids & Grace’s Swedish adventures – Part 1

Munching on a kanelbulle
Oh my goodness, how I miss Sweden! Feels like it was ages ago already. Here are some of the food highlights:
My friend took me to a restaurant called Lingon, which was just so cute. We were outside in the beer garden,ย and the sun was blazing it was awesome…but slightly chilly. However, there were blankets on the backs of the chairs so we could wrap and continue to enjoy our meal and the sun – they thought of everything. Food was yummy too!

Seafood salad with shrimp, crayfish, mussels and scallops
Trout with shrimp and potato salad
Vegetarian dumplings
Dinner chez Johanna – absolutely delicious, and the dessert was the massive kanelbulle I’m eating in the top picture.
And who could forget Max? Oh Max! How I love Max! Max, for those not in the know, is Sweden’s answer to MacDonalds. It’s so much better, so much yummier and I’m convinced so much unhealthier as well! But so good! My trip would not be complete without a visit.
I was very well-behaved this visit and only had Max once, which is more than I can say for the last couple of times I have been here where I was eating Max at least twice a day!
And, of course, there was an endless supply of kanelbulles. Every time I saw one, I had to buy and eat it. I think Iย had at least 5ย a day.ย And they’re not some small either, they’re massive and very filling. So yummy!
More pictures of the sights and my other adventures to follow shortly!
