Am lovin’ it: October Faves

Wow, is it me or did October completely zoom past? Crazy that there are only 61 days left in 2018, eek! Well, anyhoo, here are my October faves. Have at it!

This post on painting your doors! So many ideas brewing as I’m in the process of moving flats at the moment so I’m literally watching every interior décor show available as well as looking at various posts for inspo. Also my pinterest game right now is on fleek – check it out HERESo much travel inspiration after seeing this Seychelles post. I just got back from vacation but I’m so inspired to start planning another one asap! I wanna go now! This “Uninvited” beauty tutorial by Rihanna. Her tutorials just give me life; I mean she’s gorgeous and hilarious plus she makes it look so effortless. Her cat eye looked soooooo simple…it gave me hopes of one day being able to achieve the same. For now the struggle continues.

These 5 rules on how to keep your home tidy forever. Definitely going to try them out, particularly the washing the dishes straight after dinner. Ugh!

This post on removing the stigma of singleness. I love all Sade’s posts on singleness to be honest. They’re so honest and yet encouraging. I felt like I connected with so many points she made. New fave defo!

This moisturiser from Clinique. Lawd have mercy, this is everything especially with this straight out of Narnia weather Denmark is experiencing. It’s awesome, though a little pricey. Well, as long as it’s worth it, it’s money well invested. My face thanks me!

This comic book had me ROLLING! It made my recent (very lengthy!!) travel journeys so enjoyable. Adulthood really is a myth – read and weep with laughter!

Falz really is the real bahd guy and THIS IS SUCH A CHOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And finally, Penguin’s Modern titles. They’re incredibly cheap – £1 a pop for each title. I would definitely recommend Martin Luther King’s “Letter from Birmingham Jail” which also includes a copy of his seminal sermon – “The Three Dimensions of a Complete Life”. Incredible. I’m also about to get stuck into Chinua Achebe’s “Africa’s Tarnished Name” and “Dark Days” by James Baldwin. What have been your recent faves? Share in the comments below!
