Sunday best: Ankara action

The other day, I was discussing with a friend the concept of “Buying Nigerian”. Shey we are supposed to be buying Nigerian-made products and supporting the local economy? I went off to see my tailor to get some clothes made (let’s not discuss the fact that the material or the equipment used were not Nigerian-made, it has to start somewhere! I have written previously about the struggles of finding a good tailor here in Nigeria so I do appreciate my tailor’s efforts no matter our little disputes (which I am starting to think he enjoys! ha!). This skirt is just one of the reasons why I go back to him regularly – he tried for me with this skirt!
